The department offers Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree programs. The interim exits are available as Diploma, and Advanced Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering, and the interim exit for BCA degree program is Diploma in Computer Applications. The undergraduates in Computer Science Engineering (BE degree), strengthen their knowledge by studying core subjects in mathematics, advanced level of science subjects, basics of  electrical & electronics and advanced computational skills. They further develop their skills in the fields of Compiler Design, Computer Algorithms, Database Management System, Computer Networks, Computer Graphics, Computer System Architecture, Digital Logic Design, Web Technology, Soft Computing, Software Engineering and in the final year they study Parallel Computing, Digital Image Processing, Genetic Algorithms, Neural Networks, Simulation & Modeling, Distributed Systems, Data Mining & Warehousing and Artificial Intelligence Expert Systems.

The undergraduates in Computer Applications (BCA degree) strengthen their knowledge by studying subjects like mathematics, communication skills, environmental science, advanced computational skills, basics of economics, accounting and finance. They further develop their skills in the field of, Computer Architecture, Logic Design, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering and in the final year they study Data Communication & Computer Networks, Optimization Techniques, Decision Support Systems, Distributed Computing, Internet & Web Technology, Fuzzy Logic and Computer Algorithm.

The department believes in imparting knowledge through class room interaction, realizing the lesson taught in laboratory facilities and finally implementing them as project work.
